The history of cosplay
Cosplay is an act of dressing characters in movies, books or video games as characters, especially in Japanese comics and animation. Cosplay began in 1984. Nobuyuki Takahashi, founder of hard studio, attended the 42nd World Congress in Los Angeles. He was impressed by the masquerade ball and reported it in my animation. In the process, he created the term "kosupure" (the source of cosplay). The word "Cosplay" was invented in Japan in 1984, which means "clothing" and "game". Role playing is popular among all genders. Its inspiration comes from the fan consumption practice at the science fiction conference, which began with the "futuristic picture" created by morocho at the first world science fiction conference held in New York City in 1939. （1997）。
The first world role playing summit was held at Rose Garden Hotel, Nagoya, Japan on October 12, 2003. Five role players from Germany, France and Italy were invited to participate. There was no competition until the 2005 world role playing championship. The first winners were Italy's Giorgio Vicini, Francesca Dani and Emilia fata Livia.
Attendance at the World Congress masquerade ball peaked in the 1980s and has since declined. This trend was reversed when the concept of role-playing was reintroduced from Japan.
